Fox to remake ‘The Flintstones’

‘Family Guy’ creator Seth MacFarlane wants to take a shot at reinventing the Hanna-Barbera classic and will oversee a new version of ‘The Flintstones’ set to premiere in 2013.

Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly broke the news during the network’s presentation of its fall schedule to advertisers.

MacFarlane said in a taped piece to advertisers that he would likely do some of the voices, as he does on his other shows.
