CBS cancels ‘$#*! My Dad Says,’ ‘The Defenders’ and ‘Mad Love’

William Shatner, your schedule just cleared up. CBS has canceled ‘$#*! My Dad Says,’ Shatner’s sitcom based on the popular Twitter feed. Word leaked out Sunday on the move, which had been expected.

Also chopped: ‘The Defenders,’ the legal drama with Jim Belushi and Jerry O’Connell, and ‘Mad Love,’ the romantic comedy with Jason Biggs and Sarah Chalke.

CBS did not comment. The network officially unveils its fall schedule Wednesday in New York.
