The country showdown on ‘American Idol’ has evidently sent viewers’ dialin’ fingers aflutter.

The No. 1-rated singing contest logged a record 122.4 million votes following Tuesday’s sing-off between country crooners Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina, according to Fox.

Total votes logged for Season 10 amounted to 730 million, also a series record.

Meanwhile, the ratings were up slightly, too. A total of 20.6 million viewers tuned in to Tuesday’s performance final, compared with 20.1 for the same show last year.

Trackers, what did you think of the final performance show?
