Break It Down: The new episode “Yankee Stadium” chronicles the demolition of the fabled Bronx ballpark, which was replaced by a new stadium in 2009 (7 and 10 p.m. National Geographic).

The Big Bang Theory: Priya (Aarti Mann) reviews Sheldon and Leonard’s (Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki) roommate agreement with her lawyer’s eye in this new episode (8 p.m. CBS).

American Idol: The results show features performances by former contestant Crystal Bowersox and Bruno Mars (8 p.m. Fox).

The Office: In this new episode Michael (Steve Carell) wants to bid farewell to his co-workers without any drama getting in the way (9 p.m. NBC).

Grey’s Anatomy: Everyone works to help Callie (Sara Ramirez) and her new baby recover so that mother and child can finally see each other in this new episode (9 p.m. ABC).

Son of a Gun: Rapper Cory Gunz is the star of this new six-part series which follows the 23-year-old Bronx native and Lil Wayne protégé (11 p.m. MTV).

2011 NFL Draft: While labor issues had the 2011 NFL season in doubt at this writing, the draft will go on as planned starting tonight in New York (5 p.m. ESPN; NFL). The remaining rounds air Friday and Saturday on ESPN, ESPN2 and NFL.

A Child’s Garden of Poetry: This new special from director Amy Schatz and animator Maciek Albrecht presents great works of poetry for children read by Claire Danes, Carrie Fisher, Julianne Moore, Liam Neeson and others (7:30 p.m. HBO).

Royal Wedding: Prince William and Catherine Middleton will be married Friday at Westminster Abbey, at 9 a.m., London time, 3 a.m. early Friday PDT. Tonight, ABC offers “A Special Edition of 20/20: The Royal Wedding: A Modern Fairytale” (8 p.m.); and TLC airs the specials “The Making of a Royal Wedding” (8 p.m.) and “Countdown to the Royal Wedding” (9 p.m.). Continuing coverage begins at midnight on KCET, BBC America and MSNBC; 12:30 a.m. TLC; 1 a.m. CBS, NBC, KTLA, and ABC; and 2 a.m. Fox News and Reelz.

SPORTS

Basketball: The NBA playoffs continue as the Lakers face the Hornets (5 p.m. TNT) and the Mavericks play the Trail Blazers (7:30 p.m. TNT).
