Who shaves his hair on ‘SNL’ twice? Zach Galifianakis, that’s who.

Well, dress him up like Little Orphan Annie and carve a Mr. T mohawk into his head!

Zach Galifinianakis made quite an impression as the host of NBC’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ this weekend, less for any of the skits he took part in than for his stand-up-inspired opening where he lip-synced ‘Tomorrow’ in a red Orphan Annie mini dress and flashed his tidy whiteys. (But they looked pastel, so were they really tidy pinkies?)

And as a bookend for the show, he shaved his head in the iconic Mr. T fashion backstage, while struggling with the action star’s signature ‘I pity the fool’ catchphrase. Forgive him -- he must’ve been a little distracted by the clippers.

Moments later, he bounded on stage, to the seeming surprise of the cast and British pop singer Jessie J, and apologized for running out of time for the Mr. T skit. Insiders say there was no planned Mr. T sketch, by the way, so let’s just try to digest Galifianakis’ stunt as a piece of performance art.

After all, he’s done it before.

The hirsute star of ‘The Hangover’ and its upcoming sequel shaved off his ample beard when he hosted ‘SNL’ about a year ago. Wielding the razor himself, he got rid of much of his facial hair during the time it took musical guest, Vampire Weekend, to belt out a ditty.

See Galifianakis get shorn in these two clips. And as he’s out promoting ‘The Hangover 2’ you’ll know why he has a hair-don’t.
