Marc Anthony moves to ‘HawthoRNe’ and joins Jada Pinkett-Smith

Marc Anthony, husband of new ‘American Idol’ judge Jennifer Lopez, now has his own new TV gig.
Anthony, a Grammy Award-winning singer, will join the cast of TNT’s medical drama ‘HawthoRNe,’ which stars Jada Pinkett-Smith. Anthony will reprise the newly expanded role of police Det. Nick Renata, a character he introduced as a guest star last season.
Among the singer’s previous acting jobs were roles in ‘Man On Fire,’ ‘Bringing Out the Dead’ and ‘El Cantante,’ in which he starred with his wife.
