Who wants to dress like a contestant on ‘Dancing with the Stars’?

A new line of cocktail dresses and gowns inspired by the costumes on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ will be hitting the streets later this month, and our sister blog All the Rage talks to the L.A.-based clothing company that’s manufacturing the 30-piece collection.

According to Michael Kasher, chief executive of LA Femme, the company that’s producing the clothing under license, they met with the show’s costume designer, Randall Christiansen, but then had to modify designs for a mass audience, stripping away the most theatrical elements and instead concentrating on conjuring the ‘glamorous feeling’ of the dresses.’
