No Ordinary Family: When a gang of thugs takes over the police station, Jim (Michael Chiklis) is the only hope of getting everyone out of the situation alive, even if it means outing his crime-fighting alter ego, in this new episode (8 p.m. ABC).

Pioneers of Television: The season premiere of this documentary series remembers such iconic shows as “Star Trek” and “The Twilight Zone” with reminiscences from William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy and others. Later episodes will cover westerns, crime dramas and local kids’ shows (8 p.m. KOCE).

I, Predator: Each episode of this wildlife series combines archival animal footage with technology to give viewers a clear look at the predator-versus-prey struggle from the predator’s point of view (8 p.m. Animal Planet).

Frontline: In the new episode “Are We Safer?” Dana Priest investigates the terrorism-industrial complex that rose following Sept. 11 (9 p.m. KOCE).

Glory Daze: As the Omega Sigs throw a midsemester blowout, Joel and Christie (Kelly Blatz, Julianna Guill) take stock of their friendship, while Haines (Tim Meadows) finds an unlikely ally in Brother Jerrod (John Michael Higgins) in the season finale (10 p.m. TBS).

Southland: Ben (Ben McKenzie) wants revenge when the man who raped his mother is released from prison in this new episode (10 p.m. TNT). White Collar: Uptight FBI agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay) and his unlikely partner, con man and prison escapee Neal Caffrey (Matthew Bomer, “Chuck”) are back for a new season of catching counterfeiters, con artists and other elusive characters (10 p.m. USA).
