Dr. Drew Pinsky is expanding his practice ... in television.

As if Pinsky’s current TV presence wasn’t enough (you can see him on a number of VH1 series, including “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew,” and moderating those MTV “16 & Pregnant” reunions), starting this fall the CW will air a daily, half-hour show titled “Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers” during its afternoon block. This is in addition to his upcoming primetime show on HLN, which will serve as a platform for Pinsky to discuss news and newsmakers.

The CW program, produced in Los Angeles by Telepictures Productions, will focus on helping people resolve personal issues -- from relationship problems to a variety of addictions -- as Pinsky (who is board certified in internal and addiction medicine) and a panel of “experts” (sometimes including celebrities) shell out advice to help the subjects in overcoming their problems.

And, according to the show’s description, Pinsky will also ‘ ‘road test’ the latest self-improvement products, such as beauty and anti-aging breakthroughs, fitness gadgets and diet plans.’ You’re welcome, viewers.

The series will air weekdays in a two-episode block from 3 to 4 p.m. -- currently filled by repeats of “The Tyra Banks Show.” A new episode will be followed by a repeat.

Attempts to get Pinsky on the phone to discuss his new venture were unsuccessful -- he’s on his second honeymoon.

What do you think, ShowTrackers? Could Pinsky be addicted to being on TV?
