Being Human: In this new episode, Annie (Lenora Crichlow) is thrilled as she thinks she has found the perfect man, but Saul (Alex Lanipekun) has become obsessed with death and believes TV personalities are sending him private messages (6 and 9 p.m. BBC America).

Persons Unknown: Joe (Jason Wiles) endures a series of flashbacks, dreams and hallucinations during a “re-education” session designed to steer him back to the program and away from Janet (Daisy Betts) in this new episode (8 p.m. NBC).

Cops: Police officers try to catch illegal immigrants coming into the country in this new episode (8 p.m. Fox).


Bad Day at Black Rock: Spencer Tracy stars as a stranger who arrives in a Western town seeking a fallen war hero’s father, a Japanese-American allegedly sent to an internment camp, but the visitor soon learns the locals’ secret in this taut 1955 drama. Ernest Borgnine and Robert Ryan also star (5 p.m. TCM).

Stonehenge Apocalypse: Disaster strikes when the famous megaliths in England’s Salisbury Plain start to shift in this new TV thriller starring Misha Collins and Hill Harper (7 p.m. Syfy).

Jack Hunter: The Lost Treasure of Ugarit: In this 2008 adventure, a swashbuckling treasure seeker (Ivan Sergei) races across Syria, Egypt and Turkey in search of a lost fortune. Joanne Kelly and Thure Riefenstein also star (9 p.m. Syfy).

9: The human race no longer exists and machines rule in this startling 2009 computer-animated feature from director Shane Acker featuring the voices of Elijah Wood, Christopher Plummer, Jennifer Connelly, Crispin Glover, Martin Landau and John C. Reilly (10 p.m. Cinemax).


Golf: Women’s British Open, third round (7 a.m. ESPN); Greenbrier Classic, third round (noon CBS); U.S. Senior Open Championship, third round (1 p.m. NBC).
