“True Blood” fans have been frantic, and who can blame them? Hunky gentleman vampire Bill, who just proposed to his much-traumatized girlfriend, Sookie, has been kidnapped, subdued with a dreaded silver chain around his neck and dragged away to parts unknown. The horror!

But hey, chin up, fans. Bill’s been spotted at Boulevard 3 in Hollywood, looking none the worse for wear.

It was actually a goth-accented premiere party for “True Blood’s” third season, launching this Sunday night, where Stephen “Bill Compton” Moyer, with on-screen-and-real-life girlfriend Anna “Sookie Stackhouse” Paquin nearby, held court with friends and VIPs.

Among those attending were Alexander Skarsgard, Sam Trammell, Ryan Kwanten and Charlaine Harris, the Southern novelist whose bestselling books inspired “True Blood.”

They didn’t let loose with any spoilers about the upcoming season, at least not to The Times, or about their off-screen relationship. Paquin did confirm what the fans have already guessed -- Sookie, who’s a mind-reading diner waitress with mysterious special powers, will be revealed for what/who she really is in the coming weeks. That’s one of many details that viewers want to know.

You can see more about the party at Ministry of Gossip or catch up for Season 3 with our recaps of last season.
