Richter, O’Brien’s writers to appear in TBS special

TBS is already gearing up its viewers for Conan O’Brien’s arrival.

Andy Richter and O’Brien’s writers will take part in a one-hour TBS special — tentatively titled “Team Coco Presents Conan’s Writers Live” — to be taped during a Chicago comedy festival next month.

Tickets for the June 17 ‘Team Coco’ special, which will also feature music by comedian Reggie Watts, go on sale Friday.

The show has already played to sold-out audiences in Los Angeles. The special will premiere on the network June 27 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT).

O’Brien’s as-yet-untitled TBS talk show is expected to premiere in November.
