Tengo que esperar hasta Monday to learn what happens?!! Ugh. I’m not that patient!

If you tuned in this week, se hizo dia after dia of mas salacious telenovela goodness. And it all started con un beso. The kiss we’ve all been waiting for … the one I thought might happen up in that tree but never did. Manuela fue to Angel’s apartment — en serio, that painting hanging (tan feo!) on his mother’s wall is killing me — to apologize for accusing him of stealing $1,500 that was sent to the office from a client. Pero Angel no queria escucharla. Can you blame the poor ex-convict? She pleaded. He kept telling her to leave. The next thing you know, Angel se quito his ropa. Ay, don’t get ahead of yourself. He was about to take a shower and removed layers to get Manuela to leave. And just as she was about to storm off, he went after her and asked her why she had come. And BOOM. “Porque me IM-POR-TAAAASS!” she says. And they kiss. And I hit rewind.

But it wasn’t all sunshine and roses.

Manuela no sabe lo que quiera. She’s about to get married to a baboso (she doesn’t really know he’s a baboso but is slowly learning). Pero she has this attraction to Angel. And Horacio, whom I love mas que todas las purple camisas used in each episode, isn’t a fan of Martin … but also doesn’t think Angel is the way to go either. He even warns Angel to leave Manuela alone. Manuela eventually does the same, telling Angel she’s about to get married ... again, though in Thursday’s episode, we see her questioning if that’s really what she wants. So glad she’s finally coming to her senses porque it’s really hard to feel sympathetic por una bonita mujer who has a gorgeous dude like Angel pining for her — and drawing pictures of her while in his room. And it’s nice to see her finally stand up to Martin, verdad?

In other news, those scenes of Marina and company practicing their dance moves before the customers arrive are getting beyond ridiculoso. Is that much gran preparación really necessary? And this whole investigation surrounding the death of detective Cardona’s father is getting beyond boring. No me IM-POR-TA! Am I the only one who fast-forwards through all those interrogations and chase scenes? Estoy cansada with all that nonsense. This week, they’re still trying to find out whether Gregorio had accomplices in the jewelry heist. I only find it mildly tolerable because of the whole Cardona-Virginia (VEER-heen-ya!) love story — which, uh, how sad was that? El no puede estar con ella because of work? Men! It will be interesting to see where that goes — oh, wait, I do know because in the opening credits we see them about to get married. (I now also fast-forward through the opening credits … they give away so much.)

Oh, and how cute is Topo trying to help Perla with the baby? He’s loved her since he was 9 years old? Tan precioso! Can’t believe she joined America’s Not-So-Good Dance Crew (a.k.a. Marina’s posse). Pero more disturbing than that — and the non-attention ella esta dando her newborn son — is all the staring (y es mucho staring) by her dad, Sandro, as she’s shaking her hips onstage. Uh … weird.

So Show Trackers, what did you think of this week’s episodes? Share your favorite moments.
