How would you like a wake-up call from Bob and Jillian?

If you watch the ‘Biggest Loser’ each week while you polish off a vat of ice cream or an entire pizza pie***, then listen up. The NBC series “The Biggest Loser” is holding two L.A.-area tryouts for contestants for Season 10. Specifically, they’re looking for individuals and teams of two who have at least 100 pounds to lose. This season is slated to air in the fall of 2010.

Here are the details on the L.A.-area casting calls:

Note: You have a much better shot at being interviewed by casting agents if you are among the first 500 people in line. (And don’t bother trying to go out there, like, now. People will not be allowed to line up prior to three hours before the start of the open call.) Bring a non-returnable photo.

***I interview the contestants at the start of each season and am amazed at how many have the same story: Each week, they’d pack away the food and pack on the pounds while watching ‘Biggest Loser,’ wishing they could be part of the cast. Then, they find out about a local casting call and go for it. Sometimes they wait months and months before they get the final OK. (And none of them can believe how sore they are after their first workout with B&J.)
