Larry O’Donnell III, the CEO of Waste Management Inc. who is the central figure in CBS’ upcoming reality show ‘Undercover Boss,’ said he became a different person while filming the series in which he goes ‘undercover’ at his company to perform jobs alongside his employees. ‘There is no doubt I am a different individual going through this,’ O’Donnell said during a session for the series, which will debut in February after the Super Bowl. Although he felt that he was always approachable, he said ‘going out there and doing the job as a first-time employee, I have a whole new appreciation for what they do every day, and now everything I do, I think, ‘What impact will this have on those front-line employees?’ ‘

During the first episode of the series, O’Donnell gets ‘fired’ as he fails to quickly pick up trash on a hillside, and rides along on a trash route.
