After popping out big finale ratings, MTV has renewed ‘Teen Mom’ for a second season.

The channel has also ordered the new series ‘If You Really Knew Me,’ billed as a real-life version of ‘The Breakfast Club.’

Tuesday’s final episode of ‘Teen Mom,’ which saw Maci finally kick Ryan to the curb and Tyler put a ring on Catelynn’s finger, drew more than 3.6 million viewers. The show follows the young moms whose pregnancies were documented on MTV’s ’16 & Pregnant.’ Eight new episodes of ‘Teen Mom’ will begin airing this summer.

MTV will catch up with the moms one final time when it airs ‘Finale Special: Check Up With Dr. Drew,’ (video preview, above) next Tuesday at 10.

‘If You Really Knew Me’ will follow five teens in various social cliques -- jocks, geeks, etc. -- as they are put through Challenge Day, a program designed to tear down those walls. Each week will feature a different high school. Twelve episodes have been ordered for a premiere later this year.
