LIGHTS, CAMERA: Cinematographers László Kovács, left, and Vilmos Zsigmond are profiled in a new episode of "Independent Lens," at 9 p.m. on KCET.


Community: The class nominates Jeff (Joel McHale) to talk to Chang (Ken Jeong) when he assigns an absurd amount of homework (8 p.m. NBC).

Bones: Booth's (David Boreanaz) grandfather (Ralph Waite) comes to live with him and tags along with him and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) in the new episode (8 p.m. Fox).

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Langston, Catherine (Laurence Fishburne and Marg Helgenberger) and the rest of the team investigate a murder at a bowling alley after an unusual piece of evidence is revealed during a bowling tournament (9 p.m. CBS).

The Office: David (Andy Buckley) invites Michael (Steve Carell) to the Dunder Mifflin shareholders meeting in New York, and Michael brings Oscar, Dwight and Andy (Oscar Nunez, Rainn Wilson, Ed Helms) along (9 p.m. NBC).

Supernatural: Dean, Sam and Castiel (Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins) head off on a quest to find Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) and send him back to hell (9 p.m. KTLA).

WWII in HD: The final two episodes of the historical series focus on the Battle of the Bulge and Okinawa (9 p.m. History) and the end of the war (10 p.m.).

The Mentalist: A violent crime rocks the team's office, and Jane (Simon Baker) and his colleagues must solve the case despite their fears about whom the perpetrator might be (10 p.m. CBS).

Project Runway: The winner is announced in the season finale (10 p.m. Lifetime) followed at 11 p.m. by the season finale of "Models of the Runway."

The Very Funny Show: Henry Cho and Nick Thune take the stage in the premiere of the new series (midnight TBS).


Terror in Mumbai: CNN host Fareed Zakaria, a native of Mumbai, narrates filmmaker Dan Reed's documentary on the bloody incident in 2008 when 10 young Pakistani men made coordinated attacks across the city (8 p.m. HBO).

Family Armor: Two Mormon brothers-in-law run a cutting-edge business of bulletproofing vehicles in Texas while juggling fatherhood and their faith in this new special (10 p.m. TLC).


The Bridges at Toko-Ri: A Navy pilot (William Holden) is sent to Korea on yet another mission when he questions the point of the war. Grace Kelly, Fredric March, Mickey Rooney and Earl Holliman costar in this 1954 drama (7 p.m. TCM).


College basketball: O'Reilly Auto Parts Puerto Rico Tip-Off Quarterfinal: Indiana vs. Mississippi (2 p.m. ESPN2). Coaches vs. Cancer Semifinals: California vs. Syracuse (4 p.m. ESPN2); North Carolina vs. Ohio State (6:30 p.m. ESPN2).

College football: Colorado at Oklahoma State (4:30 p.m. ESPN).

United Football League: The Florida Tuskers visit the California Redwoods (6 p.m. VS).

Pro basketball: The Phoenix Suns visit the New Orleans Hornets (5 p.m. TNT); the Bulls visit the Lakers (7:30 p.m. TNT).

Hockey: The Tampa Bay Lightning visits the Ducks (7 p.m. FS Prime).
