FlashForward: An imprisoned Nazi claims to have knowledge about the blackouts in this new episode (8 p.m. ABC).

Sullivan’s Travels: One of Preston Sturges’ most ambitious films juggles comedy, social commentary and Hollywood satire in its story about an idealistic director (Joel McCrea) who disguises himself as a hobo for a crash course in life’s seamier side of life, getting far more than he bargained for. Veronica Lake also stars in this 1941 classic (5 p.m. TCM).

Outrage: This 2009 documentary examines the hypocrisy of closeted politicians who campaign against the LGBT community (8:30 p.m. HBO).
