So here’s who I’m excited about for Season 6:

Ellenore Scott, who was so charming in her original audition and who looks so confident and full of personality.

Russell Ferguson: the krumper who can take on anything and obviously isn’t afraid to get a little emotional. It’ll be really fun to see him take on new genres.

Bianca Revels: I’m a little nervous about her taking on lots of new genres but there’s a maturity to her I like. Plus I love the slightly masculine outfits she wears when she taps.

Ryan Di Llelo: Because you could argue he’s nice to look at, but also, how will he look doing hip-hop?

My only problem with the episode was that the extent to which the various crews were kept together neared feel-goodery. Once all the tappers and hip-hop dancers made it through, I was pretty sure that Mollee Gray and Noelle Marsh would stick together as well as the married couple. With so many ‘groups,’ they’re bound to get broken up right off the bat -- is that supposed to make the eliminations extra poignant? We’ll see.

It was also no surprise that Billy Bell made it, as the show made a strangely big deal about Adam Shankman crying over his performance. And I was bummed that Paula VanOppen couldn’t participate due to a conflicting project -- she looked like she would have been really fun to watch on the show.

As for Kathryn McCormick, who wants to bet we’ll be hearing her high-pitched cry-talking this week on ‘The Soup’?
