Joel McHale, the irreverent host of ‘The Soup,’ is going broadcast network on us, but that doesn’t mean Lou the chihuahua is going to have to make fun of Tyra Banks by himself.

McHale is under contract with E! and will continue to perform his duties as TV’s chief mocker on the comedic clip show while he balances his new acting gig on NBC, according to network sources. McHale is the star of ‘Community,’ a single-camera comedy that NBC picked up for fall.
