TV One, a cable network that targets black viewers, has lost its executive vice president of programming and development, Rose Catherine Pinkney, just days before the network is slated to unveil its new slate of programming to a national gathering of television writers in Los Angeles.

Pinkney, who left her position this week, joined the network two years ago to develop original programming. The executive, who previously was the head of comedy development for Paramount Pictures Television, told insiders she wanted to ‘pursue other interests.’
