Geoff Boucher, writer and purveyor of many things geek, will be moderating a panel at The Envelope’s Emmy Screening Series’ presentation of ‘Battlestar Galactica.’ Cast and creators will be in attendance, so this is your opportunity to question them on things like: ‘Why did you kill Cally?’ or ‘Which one of you decided Starbuck would have long hair?’ or ‘Where do you keep your Peabody Award?’

A question that I, and many others, had this weekend was ‘Why isn’t the ‘Sine Qua Non’ episode online?’ Well, a publicist (who will remain nameless) told me that it was all contractual. That, despite the fact that the episodes were being served online shortly after its Friday airing all-season long, it was always the plan to move to a one-week (or eight-day) delay between the online streaming and the episode’s actual airing. Sat TV viewers who’d lost their connections (either through storms or just bad signals) seemed to be the most affected by the move.

The faulty link on the SciFi.com page that mistakenly touted the ‘Sine’ episode but led to a promo for an upcoming show has been taken down from the site. There were many comments from frazzled online viewers (like myself) who didn’t know about the delay, though I don’t see them now in the forums or elsewhere.

Guess you have to get cable or satellite now if you don’t want to be a week behind.
