Bravo to Ellen! Why wait for a silly announcement Tuesday at the Lincoln Center in Manhattan when you’ve got the pull to call up ABC’s President of Primetime Entertainment Steve McPherson and demand some answers? As Kate Walsh, star of ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ sat on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk-show couch, the host picked up the phone and (nicely) asked McPherson if Walsh’s spin-off is a go.
