Lakers chat: Bresnahan on wins, Bynum, Kobe's ankle

March 17, 2011 | 11:50 am

Sure, the Lakers are 10-1 since the All-Star break, but that doesn't mean there's nothing to talk about. Lakers beat writer Mike Bresnahan, who will be chatting with readers at 2 p.m. Friday, wrote that fans shouldn't be celebrating quite yet.

And then there's the Andrew Bynum vs. Dwight Howard debate. NBA columnist Mark Heistler called each of them the best center in the NBA. So which is it? And who's a better choice for the Lakers? Before you answer, you may consider this Broderick Turner article that says Bynum has been a "towering presence" since the All-Star break.

Bresnahan will also have the latest on Kobe Bryant's sprained ankle.

Share your thoughts in the comments, or when the chat begins Friday.

[Updated March 18: Next week's sports chat will be with Helene Elliott on hockey.]
