Washington political reporter Paul West, who wrote Monday about the finish to the first half of President Obama’s term, will be chatting with readers Tuesday at 10 a.m. PST.

West also has been keeping tabs on the possible contenders in the 2012 presidential race, including Newt Gingrich.
