PhilCam in focus on Wednesday morning in Beijing

BEIJING -- Here's the view of the Olympic Green as captured by the PhilCam at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. PhilCam operator and blogger Philip Hersh's report: "Fun while clean air lasted.... Grunge is back. But sun trying to burn it off."

The Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau website has relevant air pollution data. The Chaoyang District is home to the Olympic Green, where much of the Olympic action will occur. Rowing will be contested in the Renhe Town station in the Shunyi District.
