The Beijing Games will be Helene Elliott’s 12th Olympic assignment, starting with the 1980 Lake Placid Games. She has covered hockey in a cave in Lillehammer, been stranded outside the water polo venue in Sydney, watched the U.S. men’s basketball team lose to Puerto Rico at Athens and seen countless other memorable Olympic moments.
