A Greyhound bus bound for St. Louis overturned in rural Pennsylvania early Saturday, sending 14 people to area hospitals.

The driver lost control of the bus while in the passing lane of the westbound Pennsylvania Turnpike at about 6 a.m. near the Lebanon-Lancaster exit, said Maureen Richmond, a spokeswoman for Greyhound Lines.

The bus, heading to St. Louis from New York City, was on its second leg between Philadelphia and Columbus, Ohio, with 18 people on board when it tipped over, she said.

All of the injured passengers were treated, released and boarded other buses to continue their trips, Richmond said.
