Coachella 2012: Saturday was the day

April 15, 2012 |  7:29 pm

Day 2 of Coachella led one concertgoer to a big, Ferris wheel-sized, truth: He loves Kasabian more than he loves his family.

Other revelations included the surprising attractiveness of purple hair, a decisive judgement in the case of St. Vincent: Punk v. Not Punk, and an unexpected "Community" cameo during the Childish Gambino set in a very unexpected place.

Coachella attendees were hitting the hashtag pretty liberally on Saturday, so we sifted through a lot of social media to bring you the finest tweets, pics and police horses. Check it out below to see what it was like front row at Radiohead, Kaskade and more. And cheer up "samantha stone" — Coachella is next Saturday night too.

Readers are invited to share experiences and photos on Twitter using the #latcoachella hashtag. We’ll be curating a selection of our favorites throughout the weekend.
