Country queen Loretta Lynn is back home in Hurricane Mills, Tenn., after being hospitalized briefly to treat the beginning stages of bacterial pneumonia.

“Around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning, Loretta awoke on her tour bus complaining that she was having a hard time breathing,” according to a statement released Monday by the 76-year-old singer’s office.

The ‘Coal Miner’s Daughter’ was taken to the emergency room at a hospital in Bowling Green, Ky., diagnosed with pneumonia, treated and released.

“It was one scary night,” Lynn said in the same statement. “But I am feeling better and just gonna take it easy for a couple of weeks.”

She is expected to make her next scheduled appearance on Nov. 3 in Knoxville, Tenn. Earlier this year, she had to skip a booking at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio after undergoing knee surgery.
