Those on West Side with a hankering to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers perform new single ‘The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie’ should stop reading Pop & Hiss now and head to 1901 Ocean Front Walk. Bassist Flea announced the shoot to world via Twitter about 1 hour ago and invited fans to ‘come on by’ for the 6:30 p.m. filming.

Those in L.A. may remember a bit of a near-riot that happened in Hollywood after an artist took to Twitter announcing an impromptu concert earlier this week, but this shouldn’t be a repeat. Social networks have been buzzing about the Peppers performance for much of the day, and though Pop & Hiss is holed up in an office, we’re told that police have been well-prepared for tonight’s video shoot.
