Beyoncé fans who schlepped to Target for the ‘4’ deluxe edition had a few questions for the retail chain about the singer’s new album that they took to Twitter: Where is my copy, and why can’t I access the advertised bonus content?

The singer teamed with the chain for a special version of the album with a second disc featuring six additional tracks and an “exclusive edition” of her “Run the World (Girls)” video.

Her fans vented their frustration throughout Tuesday to complain about stores in their area being sold out of the disc, and more important, they weren’t able to access the special director’s cut of the video once they did buy the release.

When the disc is inserted into a computer, a message pops up that the video is still being “finalized” but promises the finished product will be “worth the wait.” Those who purchased the disc were told to try again on Friday for the video -- not a terribly long wait. A representative said the chain was “checking” on the unexpected delay and during the day tweeted fans who complained and told them to get in contact with store supervisors.

It’s the only glitch in an otherwise heavy promotional blitz, which is starting to gain steam.

Sunday, the singer made history when she was the first woman to headline the Glastonbury music festival, the same night that she had a performance from her set beamed into the BET Awards -- the first time an artist had done such in the show’s 11-year history.

Though she has yet to step foot in the States to kick off her campaign -- she is slated to perform on “Good Morning America’s” summer concert series on Friday -- she’s making her presence known across the pond. Monday, she was the featured guest on Piers Morgan’s CNN show for an interview that was filmed in London. She also performed on France’s “Le Grand Journal” and “The X Factor” -- though if you’re searching for either performance online, like most of her recent live showings, they have been taken down. Her Glastonbury set was streamed live but individual clips have been removed due to copyright claims from the singer and the BBC.

MTV and BET are jumping aboard the Beyoncé train with a half-hour special, “Beyoncé: Year of 4,” which is slated to air simultaneously on both networks on Thursday. The special will document her return, after taking a year off and severing business ties with her father/manager Matthew Knowles.

With plenty of online murmurings that the album’s leak, nearly three weeks ahead of its scheduled release, would prove catastrophic for the project, it is clear she plans on popping up everywhere to push the album, which has gotten pretty mixed reviews (we gave it three out of four stars).
