Visitors will get to peek into the dressing rooms, singers’ boxes, projection booth and more. See how modern technology was married into a Hollywood landmark. Afterward, there’s a screening of “Forever Hollywood,” celebrating a century of movie-making with celebrity interviews with such stars as Quentin Tarantino and Clint Eastwood. The 55-minute, 1999 film contains over 400 movie and archival Hollywood history clips. www.americancinematheque.com

Cinefamily marks Father’s Day with a matinee screening of Charlie Chaplin’s “The Kid.” In Chaplin’s first feature-length directorial effort, the Tramp adopts an abandoned toddler (Jackie Coogan) he discovers in an alley and raises him to become his sidekick in schemes and cons. www.cinefamily.org
