Cameron Diaz, Jason Segel and Justin Timberlake’s names may be on the poster, but anyone who’s seen the trailers for director Jake Kasdan’s comedy ‘Bad Teacher’ immediately recognizes Phyllis Smith, who’s played Phyllis for the last seven years on the U.S. version of ‘The Office.’

In ‘Bad Teacher,’ Smith plays high school instructor Lynn Davies, who pals around with Diaz’s nasty teacher, Elizabeth Halsey.

Kasdan, whose other credits include ‘Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story,’ ‘Orange County’ and episodes of the classic TV series ‘Freaks and Geeks,’ tells the teachers what to do. But he’s always open to questions.

Kasdan and Smith will be joining Times readers for a live chat on Tuesday, June 28 at 11 a.m. PST to answer questions about ‘Bad Teacher’ or anything else you want to talk about. Sign up below for a reminder.
