Film and television actor George Hamilton starred opposite Elizabeth Taylor in the television movie ‘Poker Alice’ in 1987. He was also linked romantically to the actress.

He issued a brief statement, commenting on her passing: ‘The whole world has been in love with Elizabeth Taylor and I was fortunate enough to be one of them.’
