What is the best performance you probably didn’t see? Was it that savory slice of Americana you passed up? The grueling hikers’ climb you missed? The documentaries you didn’t know could be so entertaining?

With 400-plus films in 2010 to sift through, we all have some that we meant to catch but didn’t make it to the theater before they were gone. Others weren’t able to tempt us. And then there’s the ones that completely slipped under the radar. But I have a few suggestions (click on the gallery to the right).

From the high-brow to the low-brow with a little cheese on the side, here are a few of the films of 2010 that I think are worth a second chance.
