Him, himself and he: The late Corey Haim, in better days

March 10, 2010 |  8:05 am

By any measure, Corey Haim's death this morning is tragic. But the news of the former teen idol's passing brought back memories of a certain video he made at the height of his popularity a couple of decades ago. Here it is, in all its frosted-hair, alligator-raft, dibble-dabble glory. R.I.P., Corey Haim.

Corey Haim didn't make this video "at the height of his popularity." He made it, to let his fans know he was okay after a few years out of the spotlight.

For some reason, Corey's opening introduction to the video in which he says that very thing (right after "what's up? hello") has been edited out.

In other words, you are not only tasteless, you're misinformed.

today we have lost a very talented and funny young actor who has died way to young may you rest in peace. you tried so hard to overcome the drug but just wasnt strong enough you will be missed by millions of your fans we love you

Wow, what a tool. Classic narcissist completely and totally unaware of how others perceive(d) him.
