Overheard. The government may have listened in on phone calls with as many as 100 different investment managers on Wall Street during their ongoing investigation of insider trading.

Madoff checks coming. The trustee overseeing the recovery of Bernard Madoff’s Ponzi scheme money may be ready to actually start sending out checks to some of the victims.
