Wall Street Roundup: Waiting for Bernanke. Waiting for the jury.

April 27, 2011 |  7:59 am

Washington on wall - carolyn cole Gold: Trading now at $1,505 per ounce, up 0.1% from Tuesday. Dow Jones industrial average: Trading now at 12,612.30, up 0.1% from Tuesday.

Waiting for Bernanke. Everyone on the street is eagerly awaiting the end of the Federal Reserve's meeting and Chairman Ben Bernanke's first-ever quarterly news conference -- will he say that interest rates will remain low for an "extended period"?

Waiting for the jury. Jurors enter their third day of deliberations on the fate of former hedge fund magnate Raj Rajaratnam. On Tuesday, jurors asked to hear again some of the wiretapped phone calls in the Galleon case. Elsewhere in the courthouse, another defendant in the case pleaded guilty.
