It’s been eight years since the Chevy Camaro was available with a soft top. For 2011, the two-door coupe comes with a retractable canvas roof in both its V8 and V6 versions.

This third-generation Camaro convertible is a 3.6-liter V6 6-speed generating 312 horsepower, 278 foot-pounds of torque and up to 29 mpg highway. It starts at $30,000.

Its exterior nods to Camaros past with a V-shaped front and grille and Coke bottle sides. Its RS trim, pictured above, includes halo ring headlamps, a spoiler and 20-inch wheels, as well as an inferno orange leather interior.

The 2011 Chevrolet Camaro convertible goes into production in January and will be available by the end of the first quarter.
