Bernanke talks. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke warns that the U.S. economic recovery isn't likely to quickly bring down the nation's unemployment rate, which could remain high for some time.

Jumping through a hedge fund loophole. Hedge fund billionaire Edward Lampert appears to have found a way to get around paying nearly a billion dollars in taxes, Bloomberg reports.

Upset over low bonuses. Australia's leading investment bank may be about to lose large numbers of senior staff after two consecutive years of low bonuses, according to the Financial Times
