Schwarzenegger sheds no tears over sale of Hummer

Yesterday, on the LA Now blog, reporter Michael Rothfeld got Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s thoughts on the Hummer sale to Chinese company Tengzhong.

It seems Arnold is not mourning the loss of the Hummer brand that he has been so closely associated with. “I’ve always been a big fan of the Hummer, but … we know we’ve got to get rid of the big polluting vehicles and cars that drive with very low mileage,” he said. “You know the Hummer gets maybe 14 miles per gallon and that is not enough.”
