Reality television actresses Vanessa and Angela Simmons have leased a Beverly Hills Post Office-area house for about $10,000 a month.

The pair areworking on a spinoff of MTV’s ‘Run’s House’ called ‘Daddy’s Girls’ and plan to film on the 1.6-acre gated property as well as live there. A recent ‘Daddy’s Girls’ episode called ‘Keepin’ It Real Estate’ centered on the elder Simmons siblings considering homeownership and house-hunting in the L.A. area.

The house they leased, built in 1961, has six bedrooms and five bathrooms in about 6,000 square feet of living space. There are high ceilings, canyon and mountain views, a swimming pool and detached guest house with a bedroom and a bathroom.

Maybe there’s a tax benefit to a live-work lease, it’s just a base for a couple years or they lack of confidence in home values holding, but $120,000 a year in rent? I think it’s time to start our own ‘L.A. Land’ reality show.

Of note: The 90210 ZIP Code had 39 single-family home sales in the first quarter at a median price of $3,508,000, according to MDA DataQuick. That’s up 7.1% in price from the first quarter of 2008.
