EDS Wrap and Roll Foods in Hayward, Calif., is recalling 12,460 pounds -- more than six tons -- of frozen chicken egg rolls.

The product contains black pepper spices that may be linked to a multi-state outbreak of salmonellosis, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.

The packages bear case codes from 80210 through 80365 and 90001 through 90089, as well as the establishment number P-20350 inside the USDA Mark of Inspection printed on the sides.
