They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but in the case of foreclosed houses, I say the recent price history is far more valuable, word-wise. Pictured at right is the home at 653 E. 7th St., in Pomona. The Redfin listing is here, and this is the recent price history:

Aug. 1989: $87,500
Nov. 1990: $106,000
Sept. 1995: $114,000
March 1996: $44,000
June 1996: $82,000
Dec. 1999: $95,000
Feb. 2008: $308,700

Currently in foreclosure and listed for $238,900.
