A shooting Sunday night outside a Downey restaurant left at least one man with serious injuries and police searching the area for clues and witnesses.

When police arrived after the 8:30 p.m. shooting in the parking lot of Gloria’s Cocina Mexicana on Florence Avenue, they found an ‘unresponsive’ man with at least one gunshot wound, said Downey police Sgt. Perry Miller.

Miller said the man, who had not been identified, was taken to a hospital, and it was unclear if he would survive.

Late Sunday, Miller said officers were still talking to potential witnesses and looking for clues. He said it was unclear if the shooting was gang-related.
