Freeways near and around O.C. to be closed overnight beginning Sunday

Drivers can expect overnight closures off the 405, 605 and 22 freeways near Orange County next week due to a major construction project, according to the Orange County Transportation Authority.

From Tuesday to Friday night, the northbound 405 will be closed at Valley View Street, according to the transportation authority’s website.

Headed southbound, the 405 will be closed from Studebaker Road to Bolsa Chica Road starting at 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Friday.

The northbound 405 connector to the northbound 605 will also be closed Thursday to Sunday from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Likewise, the southbound 405 to 605 connectors will also be closed during that time.

The eastbound 22 connector to the southbound 405 will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday to Friday.

From Monday to Thursday, the eastbound 22 connector to the northbound 605 will be closed as well.
