Cool temperatures and rain are expected to persist in Southern California this weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 50% chance of rain Saturday night, with more showers possible Sunday.

Temperatures will top out at about 60 degrees, with lows in 40s in the L.A. basin and 30s in the mountains.
