Man’s body found in burned South L.A. home

Los Angeles police and fire personnel are investigating the death of man whose body was found in a burned South Los Angeles home on Monday.

Los Angeles firefighters knocked down a blaze in 15 minutes at the house in the 100 block of West 119th Street shortly after 8:30 a.m.

Inside they found the body of a man described by detectives as being in his 50s. LAPD South Bureau Homicide detectives responded to the scene after an initial investigation suggested possible suspicious circumstances.
