Crime alerts for Pacoima and nine other L.A. neighborhoods
Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in 10 L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of LAPD data by the Los Angeles Times’ Crime L.A. database.
Three neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. Pacoima (A) was the most unusual, recording 12 reports compared with a weekly average of 4.8 over the last three months.
Porter Ranch (D) topped the list of seven neighborhoods with property crime alerts. It recorded 14 property crimes compared with its weekly average of 5.2 over the last three months.
Alerts are based on an analysis of crime reports for Oct. 14–Oct. 20, the most recent seven days for which data are available.
